After the successful construction of the original facility, WDS was invited back by Beaver Dam Cold Storage to create a 45,000 square foot expansion in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. For this project, WDS provided Design/Build and General Contractor services. The ask of the project was to expand the existing building capacity by adding a new cooler, freezer, and an expanded cold dock that included two new loading dock positions. With an extremely tight timeline, WDS acted on a fast-paced schedule that involved working while Beaver Dam Cold Storage was in operation. WDS was proud to help Beaver Damn Cold Storage create a state-of-the-art venue that remains one of the few in the area certified by the Safe Quality Food Institute.
