WDS recently completed a 7,600 sq. ft. expansion of -10 degrees freezer storage for Mekong Fresh Meats in Mosinee, WI. This new expansion was designed to provide cold storage for specialty meat products and was completed on schedule from August to December.
The project came with unique challenges, including working on a small site while the client’s operations continued in the adjacent space. We carefully executed new connections and forklift access drives into the existing cooler/freezer, while maintaining weather protection, dust control, and site security throughout the process.
Despite a delay in delivery of key freezer doors, we started the pull-down process in early December and turned over to the owner for stocking prior to 2025!
