WDS Construction has been selected to renovate and expand the newly renamed Rozenboom Family Athletic Center on the campus of Dordt University. The project will entail the expansion of the iconic DeWitt Gymnasium to create a new entry and lobby, walkways, elevated viewing spaces, a new band seating area, and an upgraded courtyard. Home and visitor locker rooms will be renovated as will training rooms and restrooms. When completed, the DeWitt Gymnasium will offer an elevated student-athlete and fan experience with seating for 1,300 people, all while maintaining the unique character of the home court for the Dordt Defenders men’s and women’s teams. The project is being delivered under a design-build contract, with ISG Inc. providing architectural and engineering services.
