WDS took on a 103,000 square foot project for Dick’s Sporting Goods in Victor, NY. WDS provided General Contractor services for the new concept store with a long-time client. The concept store turns DSG into an experience-based retail stop with the addition of an indoor rock-climbing wall, batting cage, golf bays, health and wellness area for athletic injuries, and an outdoor turf and track field that converts to an ice rink in the winter. As a concept store, the project included many Change Orders and Requests For Information during construction. Our ability to adapt and make changes quickly allowed us to overcome challenges and bring to life Dick’s Sporting Goods dream facility.
